Strong Excavation & Construction GENERAL LABORERS.

General Laborers perform a variety of tasks such as removing forms from set concrete, inspecting, fixing, and maintaining company tools and equipment, loading and unloading materials, grade gravel or dirt by hand, assist everyone on the jobsite, runs errands, etc. A Laborer operates small equipment such as a skid steer and compaction equipment.  Employment offers are contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug test, background check and physical abilities test. 

Must be able to travel and have reliable transportation. Only qualified applicants will be considered.

Strong Excavation & Construction EQUIPMENT OPERATORS

An Equipment Operator operates several types of power construction equipment such as Dozer, Loader, Front-end loader, Bobcat, Backhoe, and scrapers to excavate, move, and grade earth. Minimum of four year's operating heavy equipment. Must be able to follow directions. Must be able to read and understand plans, set a laser and read elevations. Must be able to identify machines and capabilities of each piece of heavy equipment. Be able to perform a pre-trip inspection, check motor oil & steering fluid and be able to grease the heavy equipment, jump start a battery, adjust slack adjuster, etc. Must be able to slope a trench and know how to use a trench box. Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel.  Employment offers are contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug test, background check and physical abilities test.

Strong Excavation & Construction – UNDERGROUND UTILITY INSTALLER

Pipe Layers install and maintain water, sewer, and storm drain systems on excavation sites. Responsibilities include reading site plans, setting and aligning pipe, operating trenching equipment, ensuring proper slope and grade, backfilling, and inspecting for leaks or alignment issues. Experience with irrigation systems is a plus. Applicants must have experience with underground utility or pipe installation, be able to travel, and have reliable transportation.

Strong Excavation & Construction – CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN

We’re seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead crews on excavation and site development projects. This role involves supervising day-to-day operations, managing crews and subcontractors, reading and interpreting blueprints and site plans, coordinating equipment and material deliveries, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and communicating with project managers and clients. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills and at least 3 years of hands-on experience in excavation, underground utilities, or heavy civil construction, including crew supervision and job site coordination. Applicants must be able to travel and have reliable transportation.

Strong Excavation & Construction ESTIMATOR

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction estimating, with a focus on site work, utilities, concrete, and excavation. This role requires a keen eye for detail, solid mathematical and analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil construction projects

Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements

Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes

Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather critical data

Collaborate with the operations team to develop project timelines and budgets

Assist with value engineering and change order pricing as needed

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction estimating (civil or related fields)

Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., HCSS, HeavyBid, PlanSwift, or similar)

Strong understanding of excavation, grading, utilities, and concrete scope of work

Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills

Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Credentials:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field

OSHA 10 or 30 certification

Familiarity with local codes and permitting processes

Strong Excavation & Construction ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

To support our growing project management team this role is ideal for individuals looking to advance their careers in civil construction, with a focus on excavation, grading, utilities, and concrete work.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Project Managers with coordination of daily project activities

Help prepare and track project schedules, budgets, and documentation

Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to ensure timely execution

Assist with submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation

Perform site visits to monitor progress and maintain quality standards

Support preconstruction efforts including takeoffs and estimates when needed

Required Qualifications:

1–3 years of experience in construction or project coordination

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Familiarity with construction project management software (e.g., Procore, HCSS, or similar)

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Credentials:

OSHA 10 or 30 certification

Knowledge of local permitting and inspection processes

Strong Excavation & Construction PROJECT MANAGER. 

To lead and oversee civil construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate has a strong background in site work, excavation, utilities, and concrete, with a proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, teams, and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of multiple construction projects

Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and scopes of work

Coordinate with clients, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal teams

Ensure all work is performed safely, on time, and to company and industry standards

Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and daily reporting

Perform regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety

Mentor and support Assistant Project Managers and other team members

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience managing civil construction projects

Demonstrated knowledge of excavation, grading, utilities, and concrete operations

Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar)

Excellent verbal and written communication

Ability to interpret and analyze construction plans, specifications, and contracts

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Credentials:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field

OSHA 30 certification

PMP certification (a plus)

Familiarity with local permitting, inspection, and environmental compliance requirements
